Parenting seems to be more of a challenge now, than it ever has been before.
With the accessibility of information on the internet and all of the technological advances, as well as the prevalence of drugs and other dangers, this generation of children and parents face additional challenges which did not exist in previous generations.
In my view, if your children are behaving in ways you find unacceptable, and yet they seem to have everything a kid could want… unfortunately, it is the parents that have the most work to do.
